We celebrate many festivals in our life. Among them, Dashain is the festival I like most. Commonly, this festival falls in September or October and runs for fifteen joyful days. Human beings can experience great happiness, family unity, and cultural pride during this time. Dashain is the celebration of victory over evil. Our future memories are filled with the love and blessings we receive in this festival. In this season, we can reunite with our relatives or we can say that we can strengthen our family bonds. If we celebrate Dashain with true spirit, we can carry its positive values throughout the year.

During Dashain, we should embrace good traditions and share happiness. We must receive tika and jamara from our elders on the tenth day. We must fly kites, play on swings, and wear new clothes. In this festival, we must worship the goddess Durga and seek her blessings. We must respect our elders and receive their heartfelt blessings. We must share delicious food with our neighbors and the less fortunate. We must care for our family time too, because without togetherness, festivals lose their meaning. We must always remember that Dashain teaches us to defeat the evil within ourselves.

The best part of Dashain is the love and joy it brings to every home. We must use this time to forgive mistakes, heal old wounds, and build a bright future together. We must stand as a model of kindness and gratitude in this sacred season. Most people in Nepal and many parts of the world wait for Dashain all year long. I try to spend my Dashain with my family and loved ones. I think the blessings I receive during this festival will guide me to be successful and happy in my life.
